Hello Neighbours,

My name is Naqi Ahsan, and I am honoured to be running for Ward 1 Councillor.

After years of volunteering, serving local organizations, and supporting families throughout Newmarket, I am ready to take my commitment to the next level by serving on Council.

As a longtime Ward 1 resident, business owner, project manager, and community volunteer, I understand the challenges and opportunities facing our neighbourhood. My goal is simple - to listen, collaborate, and deliver practical solutions that improve the quality of life for everyone.

Why I'm Running

For over 20 years, I've proudly called Ward 1 home.

I've volunteered with organizations including Southlake Hospital, Inn From The Cold, and numerous community boards because I believe giving back makes our community stronger.

As a professional project manager, I've successfully delivered large public and private sector projects, balancing budgets, solving complex problems, and bringing people together.
